Afterpaint - painting based on wedding photo(s)
An afterpaint is a painting based on one or more professional photos (with the photographer's permission). A commissioned wedding painting, made in the studio afterwards. Finished within 1 month (November - April) or 2 months (during high season) after receiving the photo('s). A nice option if I'm unfortunately not able to attend your wedding, if space is tight, or if you are looking for a nice and personal gift to celebrate your wedding anniversary.
Two benefits compared to a live wedding painting:
✓ Composition and moment are already clear, it's easier to visualise how the painting will be
✓ Larger sized paintings are also an option
When you book an afterpaint, I can send a fun tiny painting as a gift card. This way, you can hand over something physical to the couple at the wedding, bridal shower or bachelor party.
Price indication: between 750 and 2500,-. I'd happily calculate a specific price for your afterpaint after we have gone over the wishes and options in terms of size, amount of people, details, style and delivery.
Just like with live wedding paintings, a tree is planted for every afterpaint.
